Acrobatics
Acrobatics is a dynamic and expressive art form that combines strength, flexibility, balance, and agility to create visually stunning movements and sequences. Unlike gymnastics, which often features structured routines on specialized equipment, acrobatics is more artistic and choreographic, emphasizing fluid transitions and creative expression. Acrobatic performers are trained to execute their skills on a hard floor, which adds an extra layer of challenge and demands precision and control. The focus is on storytelling through movement, integrating dance elements to craft performances that are both athletic and artistically captivating. We are very proud to be offering acrobatics as a certified studio with Acrobatic Arts, the worlds leading acrobatics training programme.
This unique blend of athleticism and artistry sets acrobatics apart from traditional gymnastics, making it an exciting discipline that celebrates both technical skill and creative innovation. Please note that our acrobatics classes are available only as an add-on for students already enrolled in ballet and/or modern theatre classes, providing a complementary skill set that enhances overall dance training and performance capabilities.
