For children who love to perform

Some children simply come alive when they get the chance to perform.

Our Triple Threat Musical Theatre classes in Streatham give young performers the opportunity to develop their skills across dance, singing and acting, while building confidence, creativity and stage presence.

Classes are energetic, supportive and full of opportunities for students to express themselves and bring characters and stories to life.

Dance, sing and act

Triple Threat means exactly that. Students work across all three musical theatre disciplines, rather than attending a class focused on singing and acting alone.

Depending on their age and what they're working towards, students might:

  • Learn musical theatre choreography

  • Develop songs and vocal performance

  • Explore acting and characterisation

  • Work with scripts and scenes

  • Experiment with improvisation

  • Combine dancing, singing and acting in performance

This gives young performers a broad foundation while helping them discover their individual strengths.

Building confident young performers

Musical theatre can be a wonderful way for children to develop confidence because they're encouraged to use their voice, communicate ideas, make creative choices and perform as part of a team.

But children don't need to arrive already bursting with confidence.

Our supportive approach gives quieter performers space to grow while encouraging naturally outgoing students to develop greater control, focus and performance skills.

There is room for every kind of personality on our stage.

More than rehearsing routines

As students develop, they work on increasingly sophisticated performance skills including:

  • Musicality and timing

  • Projection and vocal confidence

  • Characterisation and storytelling

  • Expression and stage presence

  • Teamwork and ensemble skills

  • Dance and movement technique

We don't want students simply to memorise choreography, songs and lines. We want them to understand how performers communicate with an audience and tell a story.

Small classes, plenty of opportunity to shine

Our musical theatre classes are intentionally kept small, giving students meaningful opportunities to participate rather than disappearing into the back of a large group.

Teachers can get to know each performer, encourage their individual strengths and help them work on the areas that will take their performance to the next level.

Who are our musical theatre classes for?

We welcome enthusiastic beginners as well as children with previous dance, drama, singing or performance experience.

Triple Threat is especially perfect for children who love musicals, sing around the house, make up shows in the living room, enjoy drama at school or simply can't resist an opportunity to perform.
